It features needle bundles of 3, 4, or 5 and cones that can be single, paired, or whorled. This pine is not only a stunning addition to any landscape but also a source of construction timber and firewood, although its populations have been reduced due to extensive cutting.
Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours
Stratification: cold stratify for 60 days| cold stratify for 30 days
