Growing Your Own Coffee

With suitable growing conditions and patience, your coffee plant may eventually produce cherries. Once the cherries are ripe, the beans can be harvested, dried, roasted, and ground for a fresh cup of coffee. Fruiting depends on plant maturity, light, care, and growing conditions, so harvests are not guaranteed on a young plant.
