Grow your own American Yellowwood (Cladrastis kentukea), a rare and highly ornamental North American native valued for its cascading white flower clusters and vibrant autumn color. This medium-sized deciduous tree forms a broad, rounded crown with smooth gray bark that adds year-round visual interest to any landscape.

In late spring to early summer, mature trees produce breathtaking, pendulous clusters of intensely fragrant white, pea-like flowers. Though flowering may take several years to begin, once established the bloom display can be spectacular. In fall, foliage transforms into glowing shades of yellow, gold, and orange.

This 480-seed commercial bulk pack is ideal for landscapers, conservation projects, nurseries, and large property plantings. With its deep root system and adaptability, Yellowwood makes an excellent long-term shade, specimen, and native restoration tree.
