Establish a large cranberry planting with this pack of 1800 American Cranberry seeds. Vaccinium macrocarpon is a low-growing, trailing evergreen shrub and the original source of commercial cranberries. Perfect for edible landscapes, bog gardens, restoration projects, or large-scale ground cover.

This mat-forming plant grows about 12 inches tall and spreads 3–4 feet, creating a dense carpet of glossy foliage. Leaves emerge bronzy in spring, turn deep green in summer, and develop rich bronze tones again in fall and winter.

From late spring through early summer, nodding fuchsia-pink flowers bloom with distinctive turned-back petals and unique form. By September through October, bright red edible berries mature and can be harvested for sauces, baking, or fresh use. The fruit also provides important food for birds and wildlife. Best suited for cooler climates with consistently moist, acidic soils.
