Grow your own Adam’s Needle (Yucca filamentosa) — a hardy, evergreen shrub known for its dramatic sword-like foliage and tall spikes of creamy white bell-shaped flowers.

Native to the southeastern United States, this slow-growing, virtually stemless broadleaf evergreen forms a dense rosette of rigid, spine-tipped green leaves up to 30 inches long. The leaf margins are adorned with distinctive curly white filaments that give the plant its species name.

In late spring to early summer, a tall flowering stalk rises 5–8 feet (sometimes taller in warm climates), producing a stunning cluster of nodding, bell-shaped creamy white flowers. When in bloom, yuccas resemble large snowy-white candles in the landscape — earning them the nickname “Our Lord’s Candles.”

Extremely tough and adaptable, Adam’s Needle tolerates heat, drought, salt, wind, poor sandy soils, and cold temperatures down to Zone 5. It is perfect for xeriscaping, coastal gardens, dry slopes, rock gardens, borders, and foundation plantings. Butterflies are attracted to the blooms, and the plant provides wildlife value.

This 30-seed pack is ideal for home gardeners, dry landscape projects, and ornamental accent plantings.

You will receive seeds similar in quality and viability to those shown in the listing photos.
