Coral Purslane Portulaca oleracea is a gorgeous succulent plant with single layer flowers blooming with a pink orange coral color.  The flowers close up at night and open up in daylight. This fast growing plant can be hard to find but luckily it can be propagated through cuttings.

It works as a ground cover, in a hanging basket, in mixed arrangements, fairy gardens, or even rock gardens!! This plant is suitable for xeriscaping. It does well in high heat, humidity, droughts, full or part sun. They spread like a creeping ground cover. Can be kept outside year round in zones 9-11 or indoors in a sunny window.  It also attracts butterflies!
