A rounded upright growth form makes this popular viburnum both attractive when planted individually or grouped for a tall hedge or screen. Flat white flower clusters bloom in spring, giving way to yellow berries that darken to blue/black. The berries are desirable to birds and can be used in preserves. Generally multi stem, Black haw has dark green, finally toothed foliage that turns red/purple in autumn.
