Once it gets really hot, they are had to ship and transplant. This is the right time to purchase and plant these while the ground is moist.

This plant will be bright pink and grow to about 30 inches tall. It does well in shade or sun. It will reseed itself each year, so you will have more each year. Very healthy, bare root plant. I send some of these to you in clumps. You can separate them if you wish, but I think they'd do best if planted in the clumps. If it is hot outside you'll need to water these a couple times a day in order for them to survive, so please take this into consideration if you want them to survive in this hot weather.

After transplanting, the leaves will dry out, and the plant will appear that it is dying, but if they are watered, eventually new leaves will form. You can also try misting the leaves daily. In order to have blooms next year, you must keep the roots watered this year. You may cut the tops down and new stems will form. You may get blooms this year, but I wouldn't plan on it. Next year, yes! Then you'll see these in their real beauty!
